Emailing Maitre’d

The poor guy would be buried under "I'm special" emails. I can see why it's not allowed.

And with all sorts of complaints on Day One as to why someone else got something they did not. Like extra butter or different pizza. God help the poor MD if this is ever allowed.

Tony,

That's "Go Packers!" You always get that wrong.

I keep telling you install that glass bottom!

Keith,

Tony has asked that we not talk about his "glass bottom" in the forums. ;p

Thanks for the input. Actually the Maitre’ds on Carnival encourage us to email them with our requests.

But just no earlier than one week before cruising....

And they usually send us an answer!

This is very true.  Just this last November cruise I emailed the Maitre'd a week in advance, requesting one of the booths surrounding the main floor.  Even sent a picture, LOL  I did mention how special I was, lmao, and that it was my 10 year old Grandsons first cruise.  I wanted him to be in the center of the entertainment experience they do.  Sure enough when I went upon boarding to see what table I had received, It was exactly as I requested.

There is a good reason for that Tony. You have to have passengers first!! LOL

The Captain of my own Destiny, though it might be straight down a rabbit hole!

On a prior cruise, at least one of the cruisers assisting the roll call was in contact with the Maitre'D. However, it was a longer cruise and we were setting up multiple Chef dinners as well as a couple of lunches for the CC get together on each segment.

Hi Bugs,

Now you tell me :classic_huh: They have to be called Passengers. Once you step on The Rowboat your considered my friend not just a passenger. I’m not going to change now Bugs. :classic_biggrin:
