we are cruising to ST Lucia in October..There are 4 of us in our 50;s looking for the best beach to kick back and enjoy some swimming, cocktails and lunch by a beach bar.....recommendations please

Closest to the pier, walking distance if you want or $10 cab ride, is Vigie Beach. Beautiful large Cove beach wirh tons of natural shade, calm waters mostly, small boardwalk sith some local food restaurants and bars, chairs for rent, restroom facilities, etc.

Further afield is Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay, about 30 minute ride, cab runs $30 one way. Typical beach experience with Chairs and umbrellas for rent, couple beach bars, watersports, etc.

A little past that is Pigeon Island. Usually pretty deserted outside the park with two or three food huts, chairs and umbrellas, etc. Very calm waters to swim, etc. And inside Pigeon Island, another lovely beach, calm waters, chairs and umbrellas, dome hiking if you want, great restaurant, etc.

Enjoy.

Pretty much this, the beaches to the south are nice but start getting a little far to get to

from the cruise port

Hello dancersp119

Carib beach Bar at Anse L'Ivrogne would be ideal based on your wishes

They offer really remarkable Farm to table food & flavorful drinks

Lounge around in the sun on one of St.Lucia's most picturesque beaches, go for a swim in the warm sea or even rinse of at the natural springs

Check them out on trip advisor

Whichever you choose, Savor the moment!

No I haven't but it is doable as long as you adhere to time (1 hour 45mins-2 hours maximum round trip from port Castries to Anse L'Ivrogne) & as a plus you have the breathtaking views from the sea along your journey.

Water taxi will pick you up at port Castries.

send them an email ; zionlionfarm@gmail.com & they will be glad to handle everything for you according to your specifications
