Conch Fritters And Must Sees

Anyone have any recommendations for the best conch fritters? My husband has never been to Nassau. I have been several times. I don't want to spend all day there. We will be there on Oasis from 8:30 to 3:00. Any opinions on must sees for him? I've done Atlantis and could take it or leave it. I'm just as happy staying on ship but he really wants to get off. Thanks in advance!

Many places within a few blocks of festival place have good conch fritters.

Cant remember the name but the stall within festival place had decent conch fritters

I haven't had them on Nassau but most Islands that sell the conch fritters also sell Conch Cracklings. It is sooo yummy! Give them a try!

I only had them at one place - Jyah's on Junkanoo beach. They were fantastic! The owner, Barry, will also attest to their power as an aphrodisiac!

We had the conch fritters right around the corner from the ship, right inside Senor Frogs! They were sooo good!:)

We liked them at Sharky's right on that front strip outside the gated market. There's an upper patio you can sit and watch the ships and the harbor

The conch fritters at Bahamian Cookin' -- on Trinity Place, a short walk from the dock -- are excellent. It's a local place (but cruisers are discovering it now too, maybe because I keep talking about it! ;p). The whole lunch was great -- mac 'n cheese, homemade lemonade and fruit punch, rice and beans. YUM.
