Can the OBC be used to offset the daily gratuity charges?

Yes. I'm planning to do that again in Feb.

Yes. Your Visa points redemption OBC amount will show in your account as a credit, and it will offset any charges to your account, including the gratuity charged daily.

And don't panic - you won't see your OBC in the account until Day 3 of your cruise usually. (Seems like I always see it show up on Tuesday when we embark on Sunday.) I always bring a copy of my confirmation in case there's a problem, but I've never had a problem.

Yes, with a 5% fee. However, if you are a member of the casino player's club (invitation only) or have a cash type onboard account, the fee is waived.
