Egypt travel adapter needed?

The answer to that rather depends on where you live [emoji846]

Sockets in Egypt are the European-style 2 round pin (Type C). If you do not have these plugs you will need an adapter.

The supply is 220V so if you normally use 110V (eg in the United States) you will need to check that your devices are dual voltage (most are these days). If not you will need a converter as well as an adapter.

I would post on the River Cruise Board or call them to see if they have a USA outlet (most do) and you can also e-mail the hotel. Most hotels these days provide the adapter. If not as mentioned bring a European-style 2 round pin (Type C) with you. I also bring a travel power strip with me if I have multiple devices to charge at one. I plug in the adapter, plus the strip into it and then I am set.
