When should I expect Disney to extend their schedule through summer 2019 (how do they usually release itineraries?). Disney NooB here. :cool:

While there is no definitive answer, rumors are as soon as the beginning of March through April.

DCL normally releases dates about 15 months before the cruises start. They will notify travel agents a day or two before the release. As soon as the TAs are notified, someone will release it to the boards.

The first booking day is usually reserved for platinum and gold Castaway Club members (frequent cruisers). The next day is usually silver, and finally booking is open to first timers. The good news is that by the end of the first day, info about the itineraries and sample prices will be all over the internet boards.

As above, March-mid April is a good guess for summer releases.

Moki’sMommy. That cadence for Castaway level has changed. Recently it’s been Platinum on Day 1, Gold on Day 2, Silver on Day 3, then finally New DCL cruisers on Day 4.

Thanks for the update. My personal situation is that I can't book that far in advance any more....well, I might if there were something really tempting, knowing that I could cancel if necessary.

We always book as early as possible knowing that we can cancel w/o penalty until final payment date (which has only happened once)
