Hi, I'm Linda aged 52, from Durham. DH and I have booked our first cruise in October on Cunard's QE. It took a while to persuade DH as he doesn't think he's a good sailor. We've only travelled on ferries before but our friends tell us sailing on a ship doesn't compare. We chose the Med hoping it will be a good introduction to cruising.

I'm Phil, my wife and I live in Lincolnshire and are confirmed cruise addicts.
I have always been a fan of ship travel because of my dad, we lived in the Far East and often travelled by sea between the UK and HK or Malaysia (depending where we were living at the time)
I convinced my wife to try her first cruise in 2009 and she was hooked too. We've managed at least one cruise a year since.....

Can't wait to retire to do a long one again...

Hello, I'm Patti, from Georgia, USA. May I post in your pub?! I am a huge Outlander fan and I'm planning a British Isles cruise for May or June 2017 and want to incorporate Outlander tours when in port wherever I can. I also want to see or better yet ride "The Jacobite Steam Train" while I'm in your beautiful country! Does anyone know what cruise lines dock at Fort William or an area that would be close enough to get to Fort William within the time available in port? Thank you in advance!

Question about when the casino on the ship is open/available. Do we have to be a certain distance from shore/land to be open for gambling? I know the casino is closed when we're actually docked/anchored in a port. Are there nights when we'll be cruising from one port to another but the casino isn't open? Anyone run into this before? Thanks, and nice to meet you all -- we'll be traveling next month with a group of ten from California, twelve days on the Princess Caribbean, round trip Southamptton. Looking forward to every minute!

Minna22 ship casinos general open 1/2 hour after leaving port and generally stay open until about 2:00 am. I don't know about the British Isles and Europe. The only time casinos are closed is when they sail the Hawaiian Islands as Hawaii does not allow gaming.

I'm Emma I'm 23 and also on the Indy in October!

I'm doing my best to build a young (or at least young at heart) community. At ( I'm a strong believer that cruising should be for everybody!

What a way to start your cruise career on the Indy, should be amazing! I'm cruising on her on the 24th.
