Just did online check in for May cruise on Allure. Stupid me! What is a Wow band and what does it cost? Saw it mentioned but I am clueless.

Have you ever been to Disney and seen their Magic Bands?

It is a silicone/rubber wrist band that has an RFID chip in it. It does everything that your SeaPass card does (except *ding* you on and off the ship).

Now I know what they are. No, have not been to Disney since they have had those. What do they cost? Are they widely used onboard?They cannot get you into your cabin can they?

They do everything that your SeaPass does. Your SeaPass card gets you into your cabin. A WowBand gets you into your cabin.

$4.95. You buy them at Guest Services.

They are in use only on a few ships: Quantum, Anthem, Ovation, Harmony & Symphony.
