Ports Reopening After Hurricane

Just received a letter from Carnival regarding our cruise on the Horizon. It is scheduled to go to Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.

The letter explained that Grand Turk will reopen in two weeks, San Juan on November 30th, St Thomas and St Maarten the beginning of January.

The letter also said that Carnival Corporation is committed to spending 12.5 million dollars for relief They also just chartered the Carnival Fascination to FEMA to house relief workers in St. Croix.

Just received this email also! I am so glad we will get to our original itinerary on our January Glory sailing. I am hoping an infusion of tourist dollars will help the islands get back on their feet faster.
