Moderno Breakfast/Lunch Menus

We sail this Sunday on the Jewel. We upsold to the a suite yesterday and we now will have access to Moderno for breakfast and lunch. I have searched CC high and low for copies of the menus and cannot find them. Anyone have copies?

Surprised you haven't found them - I've seen them posted in the last 7-10 days. Try looking for them posted by birdtravels.

Also, some ships are (I think) still using the old B/L menus - not sure about your ship.

This would be considered "new" menus. These are from the Dawn in September.

Breakfast foods EVERYWHERE are pretty much the same...I mean, how many ways can you do eggs or pancakes???? Request what isn't on a menu...you will get it, if it's in the ingredient list of other foods.

This is what was on the Gem in May.

Petite filet at breakfast is great...same ones they use in Cagney's.

There is also a little buffet area with fresh fruit, pastries, smoked salmon, cereals, etc. I love to get s little croissant, cream cheese and smoked salmon and it all makes a divine little sandwich!

I recommend trying the little bowls of Muesili (sp?) with the fruit on top. Similar to oatmeal. I had never had it before, and just grabbed on prior to my food coming. Goodness, it was amazing! Ate it every morning from then on.....and now my mouth is watering for my cruise in 3 weeks, where I plan to have it again! Along with the salmon, and fruit cup, and.......:) Good thing I exercise while cruising!

I also got hooked on this European favorite. Added sliced almonds or fresh mango, really great stuff.

Do they still walk around with the big skewers of endless meat at breakfast?

Do they charge you for the breakfast as one of the "specialty" dining options?

My understanding when we were on the Jewel in the Haven this past September Modernos was only for suite/haven guests for breakfast and lunch. No, no big skewers of endless meat at breakfast. :)

And no fees. It is a perk of booking a suite or haven only.
