We will be on a July sailing on Anthem. My son will join us each night for dinner. I plan to buy him a few solid color chino style shorts and a couple short sleeve button down shirts and polos. Would this be appropriate for dining? Do I need to buy him boat shoes of sanuk style shoes?

How about formal night(s). Would he need a jacket or would slacks, shirt and tie be adequate?

I know some people go super casual every night so Im asking what would look ok without getting odd looks?

Dress suggestions are not enforced, you can wear whatever you like.

haha, thanks everyone. I personally dont care if he dresses up but I don't want him to feel looked down on if he isn't dressed decent enough. I wasn't sure what the typical attire is for Wonderland and Chops. We have the BOGO deal so I hear the first night is even more casual.

I've seen adults in shorts on formal nights in those venues. I wouldn't give what you're thinking about dressing him in a second thought :)

Have a wonderful cruise!
