Q. On the 12 ”Single Cabins” on the Nieuw Statendam

I'm pretty sure it's Category OO. It was on the Koningsdam. I don't think there's much of a "price formula" anywhere in the cruise industry, it's all dynamic based on how it is selling. To get a test price you will need to be sure to enter "1" in the number of passengers; otherwise it will not even show up.

When I was on my Panama Canal cruise in April, I talked to future cruise consultant and she steered me to booking an inside and pay double, as opposed to single occupancy cabin. The inside is midship as opposed to the single cabins which were in the very front of the ship, which would make for a very rough ride.
