This morning we did a walk on the promenade and did the character meet and greet.

We headed up to the sports deck for a round of mini golf and it was warm, 80 humid degrees warm.

After mini golf we went back to do a potty break and change into swim wear. After about 2 hours in pool and hot tubs, everyone worked up an appetite and we decided to do lunch at Johnny Rockets. I didn't want to bring my phone with me as we were all swimming so no pics. Dessert was chocolate ice cream cones at the free Sprinkles kiosk on the pool deck.

After lunch went back to the room for lunch and nap but our stubborn toddler just wanted to play. I tried napping but the aft of the ship is vibrating (hadn't done this until now). Did another toddler potty break and I let the Hubby have some time to himself and brought our daughter to play in the open play area on deck 12 (Fuel) while her brothers are doing homework.

We've been trying to set time aside while on this vacation for them to focus on school work. They get evenings to do the teen program and they know it's harder on them if they don't keep up with the homework. So far the oldest has been the most disciplined. Our 13 year old has a hard time with homework even while at home so much more reminding him to get his stuff done.

Haha, that is my reaction, too...:p But for some reason, my wife loves it and orders it at every opportunity ;) I'm pretty sure it's the garlic-butter sauce...

Others, including my husband and my aunt's boyfriend loved it. Yes, 99.99% sure it's the garlic butter sauce [emoji12]

We were getting off as you were getting on. Not sure if there are drinkers in your group, that didn't want to pay the high cost for the beverage package. On day 6, they offered a 10 drink punch card for $67 plus 18% gratuity. The average drink seems to be $10. So, that is a 33% savings. The card is shareable. So, with so many, in your group, you should have no problems using it.

Just a few have drink packages. There are some frugal people in our group and they have been doing the $1 mimosas in the casino at noon [emoji51] I'll mention the drink card offer to them.

When we traveled with our 10 month old granddaughter one year, we would go back to cabin after dinner, bathe her, put on PJs, then head back out with her snug in her stroller, where she slept while we attended shows.

I think we're going to try this. We do have to be up for an excursion in the morning in Roatan so we'll see if it works out. Pretty sure she'll nap tomorrow since there is a bus ride and she almost always falls asleep on car rides.

It's between Liberty and Harmony! Harmony has no solarium pool, but can drive there. Both have slides. Have to fly to Liberty! We are on Oasis in March and will probably book on board! Have a wonderful trip. We went to Alaska 10 years ago, land only and loved it. Just too cold for me! Lol

I'm having the same dilemma. Liberty or Harmony. Can drive to Liberty but must fly to Harmony. Liberty more expensive but have aft corner balcony. Harmony will have flight costs, don't know if we should pick boardwalk balcony or sea balcony. Seems like more to do on board Harmony, esp for 17 yr old son.

Balconies facing the water are really nice, we've been spoiled. Only issue with ours is it's super soaked, the chairs with pads and table. We were going to have breakfast but the seats were soaked. By lunch they were dry. Not sure if it rained last night or they were cleaning the decks above us.

Get ready for some fun!!! I hope the weather is good for you when you sail. Our first sea day was chilly until late afternoon.

Do you have kiddos?

No, if I'd had any children they'd be grown with kids of their own by now. I have two furry, putty kids but they prefer to stay home. :D

CJ, if you are passing by the shops at some point this week, would you mind snapping a picture of the price list at the general store? I am hoping to find out what deals on liqueurs and spirits are being offered. Thank you very much! :)

I haven't stopped in there yet but I'll try to remember your request next time we pass by it. Hubby may want a bottle or two of scotch [emoji6]

I love escargot and y'all are right. They're a vehicle for garlic and butter. :D

Hey they are a lot of work too. Don't discredit yourself. [emoji4][emoji106]

These two certainly are. I call the younger one destructo-cat. I've been waiting 2 1/2 years for her to stop climbing the curtains so I can get new ones to go with my 2013 redecorating!

a414dfafdd3611d12329f03f7cb3870b.jpg back on wifi during breakfast. Well last nights Dinner: starters were crab cake and the arugula salad with pears and Camembert cheese. Yum. Main course was the chicken cordon bleu. Dessert was shared with our table: BBB creme brûlée, cherries jubilee, and the rum baba.

My brother smashed my rum baba as I was taking the photo. Gah. Brothers.

After dinner my sister in law watched the toddler so we could watch In The Air show. It was fantastic! When we got back to the room, our daughter was still awake. [emoji15] She took at nap while at the nursery (she had a nursery session while we had dinner). I got her down in about 10 minutes.

We got up this morning and got things packed. Right now we're eating breakfast in the MDR and meeting our excursion tour in about 45 minutes. Forecast is rain [emoji20] we are schedule to zip line and a beach break. Crossing fingers the sunshine holds!

Embarkation Day! We're leaving Houston and on our way to Galveston! We got a private charter to fit all 25 of us. Crossing fingers the traffic isn't too bad.

May I ask - what shuttle service did you use?

Enjoying your review and your daughter is adorable.

We ended up with decent weather. A downpour at the end when we made it back to the cruise pier. It was a really fun day! We used Victor Bodden tour company. Kids had a blast with the animals. My phone got put into another person's backpack so I didn't get photos but I'll try to get photos from family later. Others had their phones and cameras and captured the tour with all the animals.

Glad to see that mini golf actually has "buildings". It'll make it more fun to play when we board in 18 days, not that I'm counting[emoji924][emoji924][emoji924][emoji924][emoji924][emoji924][emoji847][emoji847][emoji847][emoji847][emoji847][emoji847]

It was fun to do it once. Doesn't take very long, maybe 20 minutes for the whole course, without a toddler [emoji6]

Glad you liked In the Air. Our son Kenny is the one who starts the show off (green coat and top hat). It really is a great show between the dancing and the flying. Talented group.

Oh wow! He's got a great voice! It was fun and I couldn't believe all the costume changes he and his colleagues have to make during a 45 minute show! [emoji15]

So glad to hear this! I booked with Bodden Tours as well. I'm feeling really good about this from all the positive reviews I've heard. And my personal experience with Victor so far has been fantastic. Answered my questions very quickly by e-mail, and also sent a very lengthy and informative "tips" e-mail to me.

Some people's eyes would glaze over at the 7-page long e-mail with 21 tips in it, but I thrive on details and organization, and really appreciated it :D

Sams Limousine, I'll have a separate review on that. They are based out of Houston.
