Cost of taxi to Harrison's Cave?

Does anyone know how much a taxi would cost a group of 4 to go from the cruise terminal to Harrison's Cave?

Should be around $25US ($50BDS) for the 4 of you.

Is the $25 USD one way or round trip? Would the cost be the same for 1 or 2 people as for 4?

I though I had heard that it might be hard to get in to the caves without a reservation??:confused:

I've made a reservation at Harrison's Cave for the four of us and got a taxi driver lined up. He's charging us $40 to take us there and then drop us off at The Boatyard after our tour. We're very pleased with the arrangement! :D

$40 is a good price for both going there and then back to the Boatyard. They usually charge about $25 one way.

The ship, GEM, is scheduled for Monday A.D. December the 8th, 2014 for Only 8:00 am to 4:00 pm .

Questions for you though, I've emailed Harrison Cave twice since last week to make the reservation for the tram tour however I have not received any email reply. How long did it take for you to hear back from them? I don't want to take the taxi out there and find out that it's all sold out. Did you receive any confirmation back from them?

Ah yes... for some reason Harrison's Cave reservations are not an easy issue. :rolleyes: I sent 4 different emails and had Sanjay (our taxi driver) go in and try to find out info for us. I finally got a response after the multiple emails, confirming our reservation time and telling us to be there 30 minutes before.

Just returned from our cruise and our Barbados plans went amazingly well. Unfortunately Sanjay Kini had a teaching commitment (his other job) and was unable to drive us. He emailed me well beforehand to let me know and got another taxi driver to fill in. Sanjay actually came to meet us that morning at the terminal to make sure everything went well.

Our new driver took us to the Caves for our 9:00am tour (we were on the 1st tour of the day, well ahead of the cruise ship crowds). He waited until we were done and then drove 4 of us to The Boatyard and another 2 back to the ship.

Entry to The Boatyard included the shuttle back to the ship. Both Harrison's Cave and The Boatyard were wonderful! It was a great day!! :cool:

I think the tour itself was about 45 minutes and we had tons of time at The Boatyard. :)
