santorini - one cruise in port

will the cable car be as ridiculous as ive read here if im the only cruise ship in port?

Of course not...as there will be far fewer people.

However, what is your source on number of ships? Many of the commonly mentioned websites frequently miss luxury lines and European oriented cruise lines. The best source is almost always the website for the actual port...not the commonly recommended websites.

Also will vary depending on how many passengers are on your ship. If only one ship you are very lucky

What date?

If you are on the mid-October sailing of the Spirit, cruise mapper does show only your ship in port.

Which would be ideal.

Santoriniport website is woefully not updated.

For my cruise, I checked several web-sites. And also did a Find a Cruise search here on CC, and put in Santorini as a port...

I am thinking that on our cruise. next year, we will be the only cruise in port, and maybe one other smaller cruise vessel.

But our cruise is so far in advance, that the local santoriniport info does not show.

I recently searched a number of websites for ships in-port at La Spezia.

cruisett missed two of the three ships in port on that date - and that search was just a week ahead !!
