"Bon Voyage" email

In the past there have been complaints that Azamara doesn't communicate with cruisers once final payment has been made, perhaps excluding the luggage tags we can order in North America.

Today, in what I is a first for us, we received a "Bon Voyage" email with details as to location of embarkation, Luggage Direct services, steps when signing in to board the ship, shore excursions etc.

This is a good step, only slightly marred by the opening sentence stating our cruise is "only weeks away". It isn't.

Perhaps others have received this in the past, but we do appreciate it.

Bonnie, can you pass on our support for creating this communication although it needs to be in a more timely fashion :).

We got one too! We sail on Sunday but there is no mention of Greenwich London as a point of embarkation.

And we did not, despite going through all the recent hoops to sort out communication preferences - oh well never mind!

I was concerned that I might create indeed some disappointment with my post.

On the other hand, perhaps it’s best that others know that this precruise message is being sent.

Hi Nordski, I'll pass this thread along, thank you.

Could you clarify what you mean by 'it isn't'? Is your cruise closer-in than 'weeks' or further out?

Sorry for not being clearer. It's closer-in.

Actually, although they are one of the topics, at this point I don't think we can reserve Land Discoveries online.

Regardless, a good idea and I hope that soon everyone will receive the appropriate contact from the headquarters.
