Decorating cabin for a Birthday

Someone in our group is celebrating a Birthday on our upcoming cruise. I know you can purchase a "Birthday Package" from NCL that also includes a cake. However, the persons family would like to do the decorating themselves with things they have purchased elsewhere (balloons, streamers and a simple banner). Can tape be used ( know some places don't allow tape) to hang decorations? If not, does anyone have suggestions on how they can hang some decorations? Thanks so much.

Bring those sticky things that can be removed by pulling a tab...can't think of the name right now....some kind of "strip".....that won't damage the walls.

The walls are metal...so magnets will also work.

If you use balloons, please make sure they are disposed of properly and not let to fly off the ship, as they are very harmful to the marine life.

you have to be super careful with the decorations if you have a balcony room, they decorated ours and every time I opened the balcony door, things would fly off the walls! lol!

We used magnets for my sons decorations as all the walls and roof are metal. We used the ones we gave at work on the white board. They held balloons onto the roof as well as draping banners and left no residue.

Use blue painters tape, it will not damage the walls.

I can't speak to the inside of the cabin, but we just got off the Escape and decorated the door of the birthday girl (or I should say my creative wife made the decorations) and when they opened the door later were surprised and happy,
