Cunard Personal Cruise Specialists no more!

I phoned my “Personal Cruise Specialist” today at Cunard to be told by a P&O lady that those roles are no longer in place. I will email my “Specialist” in the hope that I can speak with her regarding a query but think it’s sad that after receiving this 1:1 care it’s no longer available.

Thanks for the head's-up.

Checked, and pleased to post our specialist is still with us.

Do you still have yours?

Mine apparently still works at Cunard but will hopefully speak by email tomorrow. From what I was told today she will be available by email but I can’t just get through using her tel ext any longer. I’ll know more over the next few days. Fingers crossed I can still use her services.

Why would they be more specialised than a Cunard one

Because they

ll be working for you, not Cunard. And a really good knowledgeable TA usually knows far more than people working at a desk at a cruise line.

Very true what you say, the T/A we use have been on many cruises with different lines, but I would also think, if you work for a Cruise line, does not mean you have cruised.😉

Just thinking of a "cruise specialist" at a local branch of national chain of TAs in the UK. I used to work with her husband and he told me to be "cruise specialist" for the branch all she had to do was spend an afternoon visit to a P&O ship on changeover day in Southampton which was arranged for all agents by the company nationally.
