mrf--my daughter and I will also be on the QE2 to Southampton and then changing to the QM2 coming back to NYC--any thoughts on how to get our luggage transferred from one ship to the other? We are using the White Star luggage service (for our really big, heavy bags) from Dallas to the QE2 and then from the QM2 back to Dallas.

I have sent an e-mail to Cunard asking how they will be handling transfers between the 2 ships as I don't think we should be expected to stand in line for several hours to board the QM11. We have been on the QE11 at least 12 times so hope they take that into consideration.
