Bars near Cruise Ship port in PV

Was in PV in February and March. Unfortunately the South pier is being remodeled, no idea about the timeline. In the past the South Pier had one huge restaurant. Nowhere near as lively as Señor Frogs. There were also a few stand up beer/tequila stands with a few tables, one had local microbrews. No idea what will be there when the South Pier reopens.

Currently Carnival is docking along the North pier. No restaurants and a few stand up beer/tequila stands, no real seating. If you’re docked along the East pier (parallel to the road) you can walk to the other docks.

Take a cab in Puerto Vallarta to either the Malecon, lots of bars there as well as on Playa Los Muertos, right on the beach.

Closer to the terminal is the Marina (also better take a cab for the short distance), however you will find more restaurants then bars there.
