I sail on the Ruby 12/16. Will let you know when I get back. Thanks so much..
I smoke and cruise. Next cruise in Jan 2018 on Ruby Princess. So as not to offend the non smoker where is smoking allowed on the outside decks. I know the casino which can be pretty smoky for me.Deck 7 (Promenade) -- starboard aft

So disappointed that Princess and the other cruise lines are still allowing smoking on their ships. This is a health hazard for their customers and their crew. The smell is nauseating and disgusting and if you have asthma it can send you into paroxysms of coughing. It gets in the walls and the carpets, travels up and down stairwells and in elevators. The stink of it on peoples clothes makes me retch, especially in elevators.Remedy is simple. Don't cruise. There are plenty of land based smoke free places. Or rent or buy a yacht. Smoking has become very restricted. But cruise lines will still allow it, probably for a long time to come. Good luck with your vacation choices!
