Pearl island or Blue Lagoon

If you had your choice between Pearl island or Blue Lagoon for a 5 hour beach excursion with lunch which one would you prefer and why?

I've done both and my choice would definitely be Pearl Island which I've done now about 4X's only for the fact that it is limited to about 200 guests per day so it never felt crowded.

I would do Blue Lagoon again "only" if Pearl Island was sold out. And I would "only" do the VIP Beach Break again, due to it not being crowded in their VIP sections and their lunch upgrade was good.

It was very crowded in the non VIP area the day I was there.

Good to know!  I’m debating between the two.  The two concerns I have are: Pearl Island’s chairs seem to be not on the beach... are they still scenic and peaceful? And, DH needs an umbrella...  it seems like the VIP pkg at lagoon is the only way to ensure umbrella?

Note- moot point.  We ended up booking Pearl Island via the cruiseline 🙂
