About 29 power restoration brigades from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut have arrived today in Old San Juan, and along with 6 others from the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, are getting right to work this week. 80% power restoration in the old city and surrounding neighborhoods is expected within the week. This should power up most hotels, restaurants, stores and attractions, to include the forts of the San Juan National Historic Site.

Thank you NY, NJ and CT!
