Why Marella cruises?

It has changed in the last three weeks or so and is tied in with parent company TUI dumping the well-known UK holiday brand-name Thomson. TUI cruises are essentially a German brand who operate the Mein Schiff ships, so they needed a new name for Thomson Cruises. Such a shame to see the name Thomson disappear!

Thomson cruises did not have a bad reputation at all The name was changed as German TUI have dropped the English name Thomson completely from aircraft, land based holidays and now from cruises and some of us are very sad to see the name go
