Cabo - Best Medano beach bars/restaurants for families?

Our group of 8 (including 3 young children) will be in Cabo at the end of February and want to spend a few hours at Medano Beach. I understand that all/most restaurants on the beach allow you to use their chairs and possibly umbrellas if you purchase food and drinks, which we plan to do (and plenty of them :D).

I would appreciate recommendations on the best beach restaurant/bar for families, since we'll have littles with us. I'm basically wanting to avoid a debaucherous "spring break"-type atmosphere...general partying and loud noise is A-ok. ;p

The best family restaurant/bar for families are The Sand Bar, Billygan's, and Sur Beach House, which is newer, formerly known as Medano Beach Club, it's been completely remodeled. The Sand Bar is a favorite of local gringos. Tobasco's used to be recommended but there have been some problems with charges on bills. It is still a good family atmosphere, you just have to check your tab at the end to make sure you were charged correctly and see if they slip in a gratuity and claim it is sales tax. All menu prices at all establishments include tax.

I hate this scam. I yelled at a guy for about 10 minutes about this "special tax." I just ended up not giving a tip.
