Labadee with one year old

Hello!

We’re going on our first cruise in the beginning of November with Royal Caribbean Allure of the sea. What activities would you suggest in labadee with a one year old? We are also three people in the 30’s and my parents around 60.

Is it possible to walk somewhere from the port or do we need transportation, I am thinking of car seats.

Activities? A one year old will be quite happy playing on the beach, digging in the sand, splashing in the water....I really don't think you NEED to spend money on any kind of "excursion" unless it's something YOU want to do.

Labadee is very walkable. A car seat isn't possible, even on the "tram" they use. This is the cruise line's ""private beach"...you cannot leave the private area. Lunch will be served on Labadee, courtesy of the ship!

Maybe I didn’t explained my question really good. I just wanted advice on the best way to plan the day. If it’s possible to just walk from the boat to a beach where we can hang out that would be great. I understood it like in some ports that is not possible and you have to make some more planning, but this sounds perfect. Thank you!
