Wish I could be here to watch as Westie leaves to head to the west coast, Vancouver and our pickup there for our Hawaii cruise.

Bon Voyage to all on the NA and especially to PEB on Westie! See you in 19 days.

I'm afraid Westie is going to be like Noordam, never to be seen again east of Panama Canal.

Mother said "Never say Never" or something like that. The HAL fleet has a way of changing ports over the years. The Volendam has been on the Pacific runs it seems for a long time. The NA and the Eurodam didn't go thu the Panama Canal until just recently. Wonder if the K'dam and N Statendam will?

I THINK Eurodam and Neuw Amsterdam will fit through the old canal (pretty sure they're twins of QE and QV which do) but the new ships would have to be the new one. I wonder if they'll clear the Bridge of the Americas.
