just reading that St.Maartens is open again for cruise lines.we were supposed to be there on Britannia in february but PO have changed to another destination,wonder if they jumped the gun a little to quick.

I think they will be restricting the numbers to start with I doubt very much if they could cope with 4,5 or 6 giants docking on the same day.

Yes I agree,probably three large ships on the same day would stretch their resources,it's a shame I liked St.Martaans and it has been replaced with Tobago.I have been to Trinidad where on getting off the ship we were met by a large group of tourist board members who escorted us into town and told us not to go over the otherside of the road as it was very dangerous,not a nice welcome when you want to walk round on your own and take in the local culture,needless to say I spent twenty minutes on land and then back to the ship.I hope Tobago will not be the same as I like to do my own thing instead of going on organised tours.

Apparently it is one ship per day at the moment and maybe not large ones either. I think the First ship was Viking and the second day Marella

You can’t get larger than the Harmony & Oasis OS, they are visiting St. Maarten at the end of the month.
