Excursion help in Amber Cove

Going to Amber Cove in December on Carnival Breeze and wanting help with choosing an excursion. Any suggestions?

We did the 27 Waterfalls excursion and loved it. I recommend a private company rather than trough Carnival since you get 12 or 27 waterfalls rather than 7. Just Google 27 Waterfalls or checkout the threads here or on TripAdvisor, and check YouTube for videos.

We used Marysol Tours and were happy with them. They used an open-air bus / truck for transportation, which added to the adventure feel of the excursion. The tour included transportation, entrance fee, safety gear and guides at the falls, lunch and a stop at a local distillery on the way back.

This is a fairly active tour that requires walking up mountains for about 30 min before you start your trip down. You slide or jump off the waterfalls. None are extremely high, with the highest being maybe 10-12 feet. They do have ways around the higher ones, if you don’t want to jump.
