Children under 3 - Melody

I will have a 1 year old on July 2012. Can Anyone tell me if the cruise crew can take of the baby boy while we are doing excursions. Do children have pay for a cruise? Any input I will really appreciate.

We do offer a children's club program; unfortunately the beginning age is 3 years old and up.

Hi cruiselike, children go free as long as they share with 2 fare paying adults. You do have to pay port dues and taxes. Not sure if this alos applies to a child as young as yours though.

Thank you everyone for your input. So, Can We (parents) take a cruise with my son who will be 1 year old on July. Will he pay only taxes and dues if we both of us(parents) pay and share a cabin? Any other info we will appreciate.

Thats right Cruiselike - you only pay port taxes which differ for each cruise. On our cruises in the Mediterranean it was approximately $200 each child for a 7 day cruise with 6 ports.
