Clam shells at Labadee

Can someone who rented the clamshell loungers recently (past month) comment on if the clam shells are in a private/roped off area? Looking through recent reviews and seeing different responses. We are a group of 9- some want the clamshell for more guaranteed shade and some are happy with just the "free" loungers. We all want to be together as a group but didn't know if this is possible if clam shells are in a separate section. Thank you!

another question I have is can my husband and I get a clamshell and my 12 year old just tag along? he doesn't really lounge anyways

Yes....you don't have to be only 2 to get a clamshell....it's only that there are 2 loungers in it! A child will be in the water or playing in the sand...wouldn't expect them to sit or "lounge" ever!!

And no...the clamshell are scattered about.

How much are the clam shells? They are not on the cruise planner and i seem to remember the last time that an attendant brought one over to me and i think i just gave him a tip or maybe he asked for a specific amount, i can't recall.
