No need to do that. If you book the Chef's table, they tell you the recipe and give a demonstration.

HOWEVER...IMO the recipe would work a lot better if they added a nib of frozen chocolate ganache to the center before baking.

Chef'a Table? There were no 'chefs' on my cruise ... just lousy cooks that even burned my oder of fried eggs over easy. Glad I got the recipe elsewhere.

If anyone can help, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Googled it, and it came right up. Good luck! (Not sure if I can post it here, as it was on another Cruise website...)

Carnival Cruise Line's Famous Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

  • 6oz Dark Chocolate
  • 6oz Butter
  • 4 Eggs - room temperature
  • 6oz Sugar
  • 2oz Flour
  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a saucepan on the stove over low heat.
  • Mix the eggs and sugar by whisking in a bowl for a few minutes.
  • Add the flour into the egg and sugar mixture.
  • Add the egg mix to the melted chocolate and mix well.
  • Pour the mix into a greased mould.
  • Bake directly in the oven at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 14 minutes.

I've made this 4 times since my last cruise in December 2015. It has turned out 3 out of 4 times. The last time I over baked it. Looking forward to this Dec 2017 going on a Southern Caribbean Cruise out of San Juan.
