Aft facing balcony on Miracle

Is there a soot problem on the balcony from the smoke stack?

In California in February there was no soot or objectionable fumes from the stack.

We were on the Miracle in Feb and stayed in aft balcony cabin 6333 and had no soot problem. Our cabin did not get to cool. I always keep the curtains closed during the day to keep the sun out and I bring a 10 inch electric fan which helps circulate the cabin air. We love the aft balcony cabins, as their balconies are bigger than the regular balconies. Plenty of room to lounge back there and you get the sun, as the back of the ship slopes.
