Reindeer Farm- Must do!

There’s a reindeer farm in Palmer, AK where you can actually pet and feed reindeer!! You can also feed moose and elk! We just did this yesterday, and I highly recommend them! They don’t offer transport from Anchorage, so you’d have to rent a car and drive about an hour to it, but it’s worth it! This would work for anyone porting in Anchorage from the 14 day Holland America cruise, those driving to Denali, those spending time in Anchorage, and those who want something cool to do before their late night flight. It’s $11 per adult and $9 per child and takes around 1.5 hours for the tour.

We visited the reindeer farm as part of our DIY trip prior to cruise at the end of May. We did not have chance to feed anything but reindeer but did see moose, yak, bison, elk, and horses.

It’s very interactive and a ton of fun. I’d post pics, but the forum is saying my files are too big. Also, it’s an easy drive from Anchorage.
