Athens, cab from city to port

How easy it it to find a cab from the Acropolis/Plaka area back to port after a half day tour? Thanks

Since you’re not getting any feedback...

We will be there next month and several on the boards have advised using the Beat - Ride app, which is supposed to work like Uber. The reviews are good so I downloaded and plan to use during our port day.

The METRO is a great option

The METRO is a great option

Actually study the port map carefully.

If you are taking Ferry, metro might be ok

But cruise port piers being used recently are FAR from metro.

Express bus X80 starts from cruise pier and in opposite direction, it starts from Syntagma Square (stop is near McDonald)

We found a taxi v easy from near temple of Zeus to the port last week..cost 20€

According to the map of the port provided by this link, the cruise port is where it was when we ported in Piraeus in 2014 and 2010. It was a 20 minute walk to the METRO.
