Hi Folks

We are leaving the Diamond Princess in Yokohama and making our own way, by rail, to Kyoto.

I've seen a reference to a complimentary shuttle bus from the Osanbashi passenger terminal to Sakuragicho railway station.

Does anyone know if it Is still running?

Thanks

Cruised October disembarking at Yokohama, and yes there was. Some of our dinner companions caught the complimentary shuttle bus to Sakuragicho station and went to Kyoto.

If this cruise season, it is no longer available, Nihon Odori station is a 10 min walk from the pier

Shuttle buses are usually arranged on a case by case basis as agreed upon between the cruise line and the local authorities. From what I've been told, Princess is moving away from the free shuttle buses in Japanese ports towards a paid model (for example $5-10) which you will need to reserve in advance through the tour office. I fly back to Japan tomorrow, so I'll see if I can find out the specific plans for Osanbashi this year and report back.
