Does any know if Independent Driver is still operating.

We used them back in 2014 to/from Cape Liberty and Newark and was wondering if they are still around. Loved their:) service. If so do you have a telephone number for them?

Folks are just using Uber and Lyft for a more budget service.

I tried calling the number of Independent Driver but it says disconnected. I sent email. Hope it does not come back. Can anyone recommend(that you have used recently) another car service in the Newark NJ area that would transport my wife & I to Cape Liberty.. I would prefer not to use uber or lyft

Where in Newark do you need to be picked up? Are you driving, flying,or coming by train?

Coming in by Amtrak probably staying at Hilton Penn Sta(due to convenience w/Amtrak and PATH to NYC) unless I can find another hotel with cruise package shuttle service to Cape Liberty.
