I have only paid attention to one, and that's Dr.E, I could not tell you the names of the others out of 11 cruises. Dr. E is AWESOME!!!

I felt the same way too, that is until I experienced Dr.E, he was so good, I didn't want the muster drill to end Now you know he has to be good!!!

I have been on 25 cruises(not all Carnival) and Dr E is by far the most talented!!! I think he may take a little getting use to, but he is dynamic and fits the Carnival FUN image. I expect to see him doing bigger and better things in the future like TV

Another vote for Dr. E! He is, by far, the best, most entertaining cruise director of ANY we have ever had, on either Carnival or Royal Caribbean.

I've been on about 25+ cruises and if I had to choose I would say Matt Mitchum was my favorite cruise director. I even went out of my way to write a letter to CARNIVAL about him. I really liked the way he got everyone on the crew ship involved. Without being obnoxious or annoying.

Just off of the Vista (10 days thanks to Irma) and I can tell you hands down that Matt Mitcham is the very best cruise director we have ever had (we are diamond and we have had many). I would have agreed with a previous poster in that I never thought the cruise director made any difference but after all that Matt did for us this past week I realize the cruise director can make a huge difference.

Matt has our vote!
Normally we pay no attention to the CD but we have sailed twice with Matt and he has made both of those cruises even more memorable!

Yes we had Leigh on the Sunshine in June and he was the first CD I ever really remember making an impression. I couldn't tell you who the CD was on other cruises. Leigh was a blast!!! I think he used to be on Royal Caribbean but got fired. RC's loss is Carnivals gain!

I agree with you! We saw him everywhere on the ship and always engaged. I'm in the minority over Matt Mitchum, I think. We found he seemed to be very full of himself. But honestly, my favorite would have to be John Heald - to us he has always seemed the most genuine. But perhaps this just shows my age!
