I am trying to keep up with our evolving tour situation. My DW and I would love, as ssbeagle said, to join a tour to Etna and Taormina.

Caryn, if there are no openings on other tours, perhaps we can start a new tour ourselves?

We can certainly try. But a lot of tour operators don't book this far out. I wonder how some of these are being booked up already?

I finished my booking for the cruise today, so I'm a little behind at setting up tours. I am interested in joining a tour that has space for two. Please let me know if anyone has space. My address is karen at kacuff dot com. Thanks so much.

Many tours are being planned for all of our ports. Included on the spreadsheet are pages for private tours that have planned, including participants and space available, and a page specifically to show openings. If you would like to have your tours listed, please send me the information at Sunviking2013 at gmail.com Today I have received 4 e-mails from members of the group asking about tour openings and I can’t answer their questions w/o having the info on the spreadsheet.

For the Messina tour we have 8 people including Marianne & myself .

Please be sure to supply me with both first names & your cruise critic name .Also put in your e-mail your cabin # . Our cabin is a mini suite gurantee ,So we won't have a cabin # probably until aftre final payment .

We will make sure to cover all the details long before the tour date

The Naples tour to amalfi ,sorrento ,Positano & Ravello we show 6 of us . Just one more couple needed

We will send a e-mail out to joe Banana tours as soon as we fill the Naples tour with one more couple

You all will get our cabin # as soon as it is assigned by Princess .

We will set up a ship board meeting place for both tours ,so we can exit the ship as a small group of 8 & locate our driver with sign held up dock side

The hour for meeting on the ship & other relavant details will be set up in advance so we all know ,including the lunch info

Here is my e-mail address again : [email protected]

Cliff

This info will be posted on the Naple tour thread as well looking for that one other couple

Actually, it is Marla and Jerry. Our cabin is Aloha 212. I assume you will send the email to Ann for this. Thanks.

The last time we were here, rusticfurnituremaker organized a bus tour which took us for a short stop at a small, quaint town in the hills above Taormina; can't recall the name. The bus then continued on to Taormina for 3 or 4 hours of private shopping, dining and sightseeing. There was a guide who gave us a history of the area and a few suggetions for things to do and see in Taormina. The cost was $15 or $20 per person. There is a breathtaking view of Mt Etna from Taormina. We prefer less structured excursions and this one fit the bill to a T.

My husband Jim and I would be very interested in joining a tour at this port. Etna and Taormina sound good but since we will only be in that port for ten hours, a nine hour tour would be risky. If anyone has any suggestions or has an opening for two, please advise.
