I forgot to tell you Carolyn that we are vegetarians, but we do eat fish when we eat out. I see Sweetwater has salmon.
We are fine with any restaurant as long as there are vegetarian items on the menu. Other than being vegetarians we are easy to please.

Dave, just about EVERY restaurant in Burlington has a really good veg/vegan choice. If you add fish, you will have a good selection. We are a pretty healthy lot here in Vermont.

I am impressed with what I have learned about Vermont so far.

Carolyn...

I nearly missed your post over on the Royal TA roll call. Happy I scrolled up a bit this morning.

Leunigs is one of our favorites. If it's a nice day, dining al fresco would be quite enjoyable.

Another favorite is Three Tomatoes Trattoria. They also have al fresco dining.

I guess I should have asked: Are we thinking lunch or dinner?

If it's Leunig's, here's a map of downtown Burlington showing its location as-well-as three convenient parking garages. On street parking is available; however, since it's a Saturday spaces may be difficult to find.

Thanks for the map Lew.
I just need a time. We get into Burlington at 1:20 PM so by the time I pick up a car and drive down town it will be a little late for lunch unless it is a late lunch.
Late lunch is fine with me. I will be hungry.

Anytime that works for you will be fine for us. Late lunch, early dinner…whatever works for you.

I figure an hour…max…from the time you land until you arrive in downtown Burlington. I'll post driving directions for you tomorrow.

Here's a map and directions from the Burlngton Airport to the parking garage on Bank Street. Any questions...just ask.

For anyone driving to Burlington along I89, take exit 14W and follow the directions on the map to the parking garage.

I will go for the early dinner if that's ok with everyone else. That way we will look around the town and then meet you all at the restaurant at about 5. After we eat we will head north. Our bed and breakfast is in Milton.

What does Carolyn think?

I didn't notice your new map this morning. I have clipped both and added to my Evernote. (Thanks for that Lew) I now use Evernote and Dropbox. Both invaluable tools for organizing.

Looks like we are all in agreement.

Thanks for picking Leunig Carolyn and Lew. It looks like a fabulous restaurant. They also offer a great early dinner special. You can't beat it.

I will call and make a reservation for eight people at 5-5:30 pm on Saturday August 25. I will ask for outside seating if the weather is nice.
