Connecting Room on Eclipse Need Help

We are booked on the Eclipse and have cabin # 1B-9250 and 1B-9254. On the deck plan it states they are connecting cabins. We booked these cabins specifically because we have a disabled son that we need to leave the connecting door open between cabins. We are getting conflicting information from you-tube which people are stating the doors are on the outside facing the hallway and not in the wall between the cabins. Has anyone stayed in this specific cabin and is there a door in-between the cabins? Thanks for the help.

On the SClass ships, of which Eclipse is one, the connecting cabins do not have the door in the wall. Instead they have a system where the outer door at the hallway can be closed and the two inner doors at the staterooms can both be opened, thus making the connection. You can also still close ine door and leave the other one open if you wish for one side or the other to have some privacy. Don't worry, it's a little hard to explain but you can find lots of photos that show how it works.

We have 3 sunset veranda cabins on Eclipse next summer... 6306, 6308, and 6312... we were unable to book 6310 because it holds 3+ passengers and these are all solo cabins (although we are wait listed on 6310).

Having stayed at timeshare properties that have the "vestibule" with two doors inside, we have had trouble with the slamming of the outer or inner door to the room that is not ours. It seems that may also be a problem with these cabins. If we get 6310, at least we'll have two cabins with one outside door... but 6306 connects with a family suite of some kind and I worry that might be noisy if there are lots of people going in and out.

Comments? Thanks in advance...
