Prior to departure, what is the last date you can:

- pre-purchase water / drinks
- pre-purchase internet
- make dinner reservations
- print boarding passes and luggage tags
- update traveler information
- purchase transfer from the airport to the cruise ship - can you do this the day of onsite at airport?

Normally, 3 days before sailing, but some items have longer lead times. You can print luggage tags and boarding passes 75 days prior once you enter your immigration and credit card information. No need to wait. There is no cost involved.
I am not aware that you can purchase a transfer from Princess at the airport. These are purchased through your T.A. or through Princess if booked directly. What Port? Generally we found that at most ports taxis or private transportation is much easier and less expensive. This is especially true at Ft. Lauderdale.
We have found that for most voyages it is fairly easy to make dinner reservations once on board. Call the DINE line, visit the restaurant or passenger services on the first day. When you book on board you can use up excess OBC if you have it. On some of the 7 day or less voyages it is a little more difficult on board.
