North Pacific Gyre/ plastic ocean

Calling all cruise ship operators.... Please web search North Pacific Gyre. We need to clean it up and I have a suggestion that might help without financial suicide! If "Eco cruises" were introduced, many people would be pleased to take an active part in the great ocean clean-up! Every little bit helps, even individuals using long handled nets to scoop up a bit of plastic. An on-board compactor could squash collected trash into bricks for safe recycling ashore. A smaller one could form "medals" as a reward/memento for "doing your bit".

It could catch on and we could leave a better world for our descendants. Be one of the first companies to show environmental responsibility. I'll be on the first ship! xxx
