FOX News Channel

Recommended Posts

Unlike FOX, CBS, CNN, NBC etc that pay local affiliates and satellite companies like Direct TV to run their programming... PBS is not a network. They are a distributor of programming that is produced by local member stations and aired by your local PBS station who pay to PBS a fee that comes from contributions from local grants, corporate underwriters and "Viewers Like You"

PBS NewHour is produced by WETA in Washington DC and Royal Caribbean is not a PBS distribution member affiliate. So the chances of seeing NewsHour on one of their ships are 0%

None of those networks pay Directv to run their programming. Quite the opposite. FOX, CBS and NBC have local affiliates that are paid by Directv and all cable companies. CNN and FOX news are national cable channels that are paid by anyone wishing to carry their programming.

We were on the Grandeur’s October 28, 2017 sailing from Baltimore. We did not have the Fox News Channel. On our sailing, Channel 28 was HLN.

When we have been in Orlando the only good thing about fox news was Judge Judy followed it.

Sounds you are referencing local Fox channel that carries TV shows and local news not to be confused with Fox News Network that is being discussed here. The quality of local news can vary, but it is usually local sports/weather/happenings/traffic/events in area and is usually bereft of political opinion or editorial style news/infotainment.

Yes, thanks for the clarification. One is Fox WOFL in Orlando. The other that we are interested in is Fox News (FNC).

Two very different channels.

I thought it didn't sound biased, because they said it was sunny in Orlando and it was.
