Cabins behind elevators?

Hello Cruise Critic friends, I would like to know about any experiences anyone has had having a cabin behind an elevator, such as Aloha 431, or Baja 433 on the Coral or Island? We are wondering about noise, vibration, etc. We will be on a 20 day cruise and really don't want a noisy cabin.

Thank you. Christy :tropical-drink: :)

I always book a cabin as close to the elevator as I can and I've never had a noise problem from the elevator or from people waiting or getting off. Ironically, people are "afraid" of those cabins and are usually easy to book plus they are sometimes cheaper than cabins a little further away from the elevator in the same category.
