have been on 2 whale watching excursions - nope no whales.

What are the chances of seeing whales in October? Was thinking of trying RCCL’s excursion.

There's no guarantees..

 

October is the very early beginning of whale season around the Caribbean. Mostly it's smaller whales - we don't really get humpbacks or such, more like sperm whales and the like. There's a decent chance you'll see dolphins at the least. And the coastline is pretty spectacular...
