Hi everyone,

i'm still reading through all the threads on in this directory, but I'm looking for advice on good destinations to help make the most of our time in CR with our small children (Jan 4th) .They are 5 &6 and very active, so I'm not sure a canal tour or 2 hr trip to the tram are good ideas. From a trip over the summer, I'm not sure they are quite big enough for snorkeling, they swim, but got pretty gun shy when we were in an ocean w/waves, even though we were only at about 15 ft.

One idea I had was Cahuita Park, as I thought we could do a guided hike and learn about the rainforest and then also run around the beach. Reasonable idea?

I haven't really seen anything offered on the boat that seems like it would work with them, so we'd probably be hiring a local operator, so would love any suggestions of anyone you toured with that you think would be able to set up a kid friendly itinerary. Thanks in advance!
