Checking to see if Princess offers a shuttle or transfers to their Copper River Princess Lodge or their Kenai Wilderness Lodge .our 10 day land and sea tour ends in Anchorage wanted to add 2 days at either one . Oh by the way which lodge , would you choose . We have not stayed at either on of these lodges before so wanted to try something new this time.. Also does Princess still do the shuttle from Seattle to Vancouver since air prices are higher flying into Vancouver.

The only way to get to these properties is with a rental car or if they are included in a Princess cruise-tour. Would you be open to renting a car to get there?

If that is the only way I would but hate to rent the car just to drive 50 to 60 miles and it just sit there. If I rent may just have to add more days and see more of Alaska never know if we'll ever make it back there.

From Anchorage to either one of those lodges is more than 50 or 60 miles... It's a hundred miles of one of the most scenic drives to the Kenai Princess Lodge and its 200 miles to the Copper River Princess Lodge.

Yes, they still do the shuttle from Seattle to Vancouver. It leaves Vancouver around 9 AM and usually gets to Seatac by 1:30 or 2:00pm. Although last month we had a horrible wait at the border and didn't arrive until closer to 4:00pm. You can read about our Vancouver to Seattle shuttle trip here.

While we haven't stayed at Copper River, we have stayed at the Kenai Princess Lodge. While they weren't separate cabins, it did feel like it. We enjoyed it and would stay there again. I've attached a couple pictures I took there a few years back.
