Taxi on Grand Turk

We are hoping to take a taxi to Cockburn Town. Can anyone who has done this recently answer a couple of questions for me?

First....where do we go to find the taxis at the cruise port?

Second....how long is a good length of time to allow for exploring the town and doing some shopping?

You will walk a very short distance from the pier to the parking lot area where you can get a taxi. You can also negotiate for say a tour for three or more hours so they will stay with you. We took a four hour tour including a stop at the downtown area. Downtown is relatively small.

Keith, that sounds like a good day! Can you tell me approximately what kind of price I would pay for a tour like this? There will be 4 adults. I have read that just a taxi to the town is about $5 per person.
