Hotel Suggestions in Tokyo

I have 3 days in Tokyo pre-cruise. Looking for some suggestions for a reasonably priced (I don't need a luxury hotel) decent hotel in a central location in Tokyo. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you possibly have a military ID card? If so, the very best option would be the New Sanno Hotel which is run by and for the US military.

We spent five nights at the Tokyo Hilton (in the convenient Shinjuku area), and were pleased.  We upgraded to an Executive room so had access to their executive lounge, which included a full breakfast of both Western and Japanese offerings with food also in the evenings.

We have stayed at the Tokyo Prince Hotel, and have been very happy with the rooms and site.  The hotel primarily serves the Japanese population, but they were very generous to us.  There is a lovely garden in the back.

Another advantage with Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku is their complimentary shuttles between the hotel and Shinjuku station which makes it very convenient. We have stayed there a couple of times and enjoyed their wonderful breakfast. They are always very full though and even with HH Gold it's hard to get a complimentary upgrade.
